Our Care
We can assist not only those who are semi fit and require minimum personal attention; for example, people who only need companionship and help with everyday household chores that enable the home to run smoothly. The service is invaluable to persons who are less independent and need help with more personal requirements: such as bathing, dressing and so on.
We work alongside other care providers and we are always willing to give respite backup for existing carers.
Our service is also ideal for situations where care is needed on an on-going or medium term basis; we can however, provide care for shorter periods of say a week or a fortnight. In cases where help is required for longer, we will provide cover through our comprehensive countywide bank of companions/carers who will changeover every two to three weeks.
Our cover ranges from a two-hour 'Call-out' duty to 'Live-in' companionship 24 hours, 7 days per week. We always try to arrange for carers with whom our client has established a good rapport to return so that continuity can be maintained.
Understandably, we take great care in selecting the right person for each post; in addition to that person being appropriate in terms of the practical needs of each client, attention is also given to the personality of both parties.
All applicants for our register are carefully selected to guarantee the highest standard. All candidates for the post must provide character references and where possible at least two previous employers references which are always checked. Each one is personally interviewed and vetted by us. (Once accepted by our agency they are then issued with an ID Card.)
