There are times in all our lives when we need to depend on others...

...this is particularly true as we grow older and our loss of independence simply stems from an inability to cope on our own...

But it can be the result of a family crisis, a period of ill health, recuperation after a spell in hospital,
or bereavement when practical and/or emotional support is required...

We are a specialist organisation providing a flexible service tailored to each individual client which will enable them to maintain their independence whilst at home. We can assist not only those who are semi-fit and require minimum personal attention; for example, people who only need companionship and help with everyday household chores, but also persons who are less independent and need help with more personal requirements such as, bathing, dressing etc. We work alongside other care providers and we are always willing to give respite backup for existing carers.

Our service is ideal for situations where care is needed on an on-going or medium term basis. We can however provide care for shorter periods of say a week or a fortnight. In cases where help is required for longer, we will provide cover through our Countywide Bank of Carers. Our services range from a two-hour call-out, to live-in companionship 24 hours, 7 days per week.

Understandably, we take great care in selecting the right person for each post. In addition to that person being appropriate in terms of the practical needs of each client, attention is also given to the personality of both parties.

All applicants for our register are carefully selected to ensure the highest standards. All candidates are fully vetted and must provide a number of references which are always checked.
